Michalis Pantelides, the founder of M.Pantelides Violin Shop / MP Violins Ltd in Cyprus since 2005 and in Greece since 2024, honed his skills at the prestigious Istituto Professionale per L’Artigianato Liutario e del Legno Antonio Stradivari in Cremona, Italy, under the guidance of distinguished violin makers, including the renowned Bissolotti family, where he won numerous awards during his studies. He also received a diploma in bow making under the mentorship of G. Lucchi.
Michalis is an active member of international professional organizations such as ALI, CAS, VSA, and BVMA, allowing him to collaborate with esteemed colleagues and further establish himself as a significant violin maker and expert in sound adjustment. With 25 years of experience, his expertise is recognized worldwide, earning the trust of prominent musicians and leading to the maintenance and care of many valuable and historic instruments crafted by notable makers.
Driven by passion and a deep commitment to the traditional violin-making techniques of Cremona, Michalis Pantelides keeps this invaluable heritage alive to this day.
